I am from Singapore and was in Norway with my Norwegian Girlfriend, which is now studying in singapore.
We landed in Stavanger after a long flight of 20 hours from Singapore.
We picked up our rental car, a Toyota and went to our hotel before we proceeded to Stord. After a good night sleep we came out to the parking lot the day after and saw to our astonishment that somebody had vandalized the backlite of our car in the night.
As i am myself from Singapore a quiet part of the world - i did not expect something like this to happen in Norway - another quiet part of the world.
Anyway we contacted the hotel and told them what had occured -immidiately they started to ring up suppliers of Automotive glass in order to help us on the spot.
After trying 2 companies they reached Autoglass in Stavanger - they had the glass in stock and was able to replace it in 2 hours. Not only that but they even suggested to pick up and bring back the car to us. This is a service i would recommend to anybody.
